What are research peptides?
Research peptides are synthetic chains of amino acids produced in a laboratory setting. They are used exclusively for in vitro scientific research — meaning testing conducted outside of a living organism, typically in cell cultures or controlled lab environments. All products sold by Nova Aminos are intended solely for this purpose.
Are these products for human use?
No. All products sold by Nova Aminos are strictly for in vitro laboratory research. They are not approved by the FDA, and they are not for human or veterinary use of any kind — no consumption, injection, or administration. By purchasing, you confirm that you are a researcher and that products will be used solely for legitimate scientific research purposes.
What purity level can I expect?
Every compound we stock is held to a minimum 99%+ purity standard — nothing enters our catalog below that threshold. Purity and specification data is listed on each product page.
What does “lyophilized” mean?
Lyophilized means the peptide has been freeze-dried into a powder form. This process removes moisture to maximize stability and shelf life during storage and shipping. Lyophilized peptides are significantly more stable than liquid solutions and are the industry standard for research-grade compounds.
Do I need any special qualifications to purchase?
You must be at least 21 years of age. You are also expected to be a qualified researcher familiar with proper laboratory handling procedures for these compounds. By completing a purchase you represent that you meet these requirements and that you will use all products in compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
How do I know Nova Aminos is a legitimate supplier?
Nova Aminos is a U.S.-registered LLC operating entirely within the United States, with a secure HTTPS checkout. Ordering & Payment
Important — what to write in your payment note
When you send your payment — CashApp or Zelle — the note/memo must contain only these two things:
- Your order number
- Your name
Example note: Order #1234 – Jordan Lee
Please do not write product names, “peptides,” “research,” or anything describing your order. Payment apps and banks automatically scan payment notes, and those words can cause your payment to be held or rejected and your order delayed. Keeping the note to just your order number and name protects you and keeps your order moving.
How do I place an order?
Browse our products, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. At checkout, choose CashApp or Zelle as your payment method and complete the order. You will receive an order confirmation email with our payment details. Once you send payment — including only your order number and your name in the payment note — we will process and ship your order within 48 hours.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept CashApp ($novaresearch) and Zelle. Choose either at checkout — the matching payment details are shown on the order confirmation page after you place your order, and they are also included in the order confirmation email. When you pay, please include only your order number and your name in the payment note/memo — nothing else. Do not mention products, “peptides,” or “research,” as payment providers may hold or reject payments whose notes contain those words.
How does the payment process work?
After completing checkout, your order will be placed in “On Hold” status. You’ll receive an email with the payment details for the method you chose — CashApp ($novaresearch) or our Zelle account. Send the total amount and, in the payment note, include only your order number and your name — no product names or other details. Once we confirm receipt of your payment — typically within a few hours during business hours — your order status updates to “Processing” and we prepare your shipment.
What if my payment is flagged or rejected?
If CashApp or your bank holds, flags, or rejects your payment for any reason, email us immediately at
support@novaaminos.org with your order number and we’ll help you resolve it. In most cases, resending with a clean note (order number and name only), using the other payment method at your disposal, or verifying your account with the payment provider clears it up. Your order remains on hold for the full 48 hours, and we will cancel it without penalty if the payment can’t be completed — inventory is released back for you to try again.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to
support@novaaminos.org before your order ships. Once a shipment has been picked up by the carrier, we are unable to cancel or modify it. Please review your order carefully before completing checkout.
Shipping
How fast do you ship?
All orders are fulfilled within 48 hours of payment confirmation and ship via UPS. You will receive a shipping confirmation with your UPS tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
How much is shipping?
Flat rate UPS shipping is $9.00 on orders under $250. Orders of $250 or more ship free.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only. We do not ship to international addresses at this time.
How will my order be packaged?
All orders are shipped in discreet, unmarked packaging with no external branding or product labeling. Lyophilized compounds are shelf-stable at ambient temperatures for the duration of normal transit, so no cold packs are needed — your vials arrive ready for proper cold storage.
Will the package have any product names or branding on the outside?
No. Every package ships in plain, unmarked boxes or envelopes with no external branding, no “Nova Aminos” label, and no product names. The shipping label shows only the recipient name and address with our return address — there is no indication on the outside of what is inside.
My tracking says delivered but I didn’t receive it — what do I do?
First, check with anyone at your address (household members, front desk, neighbors) and look for safe drop-off spots near your door. If you still can’t locate the package, file a missing-package claim with UPS at
ups.com/claims or by calling 1-800-742-5877. Once you have a UPS case number, email
support@novaaminos.org with your order number and the UPS case number — we’ll help work the claim through UPS.
Storage & Handling
How should I store my peptides?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at -20°C in a freezer, away from light and moisture. Under these conditions, most lyophilized peptides remain stable for 24 months or longer. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water (BAC water), store at 4°C in a refrigerator and use within 30 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
What is BAC water and why do I need it?
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is the standard solvent used to reconstitute lyophilized research peptides before use in laboratory settings. The benzyl alcohol prevents microbial growth in the reconstituted solution. We carry BAC water in our shop as a convenience for researchers.
Is BAC water included with my peptide order?
BAC water is sold separately. We offer it as a 30mL multi-dose vial for $30 — one bottle is enough to reconstitute multiple peptides over time, so most researchers add a single vial to their first order. If you don’t already have BAC water on hand, add it to your cart before checkout so everything arrives in the same package.
What if my order arrives warm?
Lyophilized peptides are highly stable at room temperature for short periods (several days) and will not be degraded by normal shipping transit times. If you have concerns about your shipment, contact us at

Returns & Issues
What is your return policy?
Because our products are perishable research compounds, all sales are final once an order ships. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will review your case and issue a replacement or refund as appropriate.
My order was incorrect or missing an item — what do I do?
Email us at
support@novaaminos.org within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a description of the issue. We will investigate and ship a replacement for any confirmed errors at no charge to you.
